Brigid McCormick, M.A., BCBA
Founder and Clinical Director
Brigid jokes that she has been in the human services field since before she was born. Her parents met working with adults with disabilities, and she has volunteered or worked with agencies since before she could walk. Before attending The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she received her Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Brigid received her teaching certification in Secondary Education from Illinois State University. As the Founder of Precision ABA, LLC, Brigid empowers parents with the skills they need to help their children excel.
Brigid also serves on the Board for the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis, and is the chair of the Practitioner Education committee. Brigid truly loves working with children and their families, and coaching staff members to become exceptional clinicians. In her free time, Brigid loves to craft and read!
Kevin Schneider M.A., BCBA
Business Manager and Behavior Analyst
Kevin received his Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Kevin wears several hats at Precision ABA, including working as a Behavior Analyst and our Business Manager. As a Behavior Analyst, Kevin enjoys working with adults with developmental disabilities, and their staff and families, on building new skills and supporting new behaviors. Kevin lives for data analysis and spends his free time working on cars, building things, and making spreadsheets.
Office Manager and Behavior Technician
Haley is a Behavior Technician at Precision ABA and has been with us since May 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois-Springfield. Haley also works as a Preschool Teacher in addition to her time at Precision ABA, where she supports 3-, 4-, and 5-year olds.
She loves her job because she gets to work with great kids and help them grow and achieve their goals. In her free time, she likes to play soccer, be outdoors, and watch movies.
Desiree Garcia, M.S., BCBA
Program Manager and Behavior Analyst
Desiree earned her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in December 2019. Before that, she received two Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2015.
Desiree loves seeing the progress each of her clients make towards their goals and knowing that she played a role in getting them there! She also enjoys learning with her clients and coworkers. In her free time, Desiree loves going to see her favorite band, My Morning Jacket, play at venues across the country. She also enjoys practicing yoga and free dancing on aerial hammocks and the aerial hoop. When she's not doing any of those things, she is either hanging out at home with her boyfriend and pup, Remmy, or spending time with friends and family.
Kelsey Lund, M.S.
Kelsey is a Program Manager who has worked with the Precision ABA team since September 2017. She attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, earning her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Before that, she graduated from North Central College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Kelsey loves her job because it's unique. On a typical day, she gets to hang out with kids, while helping and watching them grow, develop new skills, and meet goals, while also furthering her knowledge and meeting her own goals. And, she says, "I get to work with incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and awesome people." In her free time, Kelsey likes to travel and explore new countries, try new foods, and spend time with her family and friends.
Worner Leland, MS, BCBA, LBA
Program Manager and Behavior Analyst
Worner received their Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016, and have since served as a practitioner, a researcher, and an educator with a focus on ethics and social justice. As a Behavior Analyst, Worner's core focus is on supporting all clients in discovering and moving toward each one's own special interests and values. They believe in supporting and affirming neurodiversity, and in assisting families and communities in creating spaces which honor the needs, boundaries, and self-determination of all its members.
In addition to their work at Precision ABA, Worner also provides specialized behavior support and consultation on the topics of sex, sexuality, gender, relationship and friendship health. They are a strong proponent of client human rights, and value supporting learning across the lifespan which centers assent and autonomy.
